Writing in the Odyssey, Homer called Sicily the “island of the sun”, and rightly so, because the essence of this land is indeed creative fire that rises from the bubbling bowels of the subsoil and sublimates into pure, ecstatic light. During this trip you will have the opportunity to unravel its telluric and ethereal mystery, “collecting” wonderful UNESCO Heritage sites: Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, among the most active in the world, the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, an extraordinary Greek archaeological site, the Aeolian archipelago, lava outcrops that stand out against a deep blue sea … nature, history, myth, in the heart of the Mediterranean.
