Alta Badia: skiing and tasting

Alta Badia welcomes you: cheese tasting galore!
Upon arrival at your chosen airport, meet with our driver and get transferred to the hotel, where a welcome cocktail and a unique cheese tasting await you; matching different colours, forms and flavours, combining different textures and tastes,
cheese always gives us the opportunity to be creative and match with pairing wines as well. At Ciasa Salares, a member of the ‘cheese team’ with a wealth of cheese knowledge is always on hand to guide you into the cheese room and show you what they have on offer.
In the afternoon, relax in your room or take the opportunity to visit the Ladin Museum, where you can visit the fossil remainsof the prehistoric bearof the Conturines cave as well as learn more about the origins of the Dolomites mountains.
Return to the hotel, enjoy a wonderful dinner and rest for the evening.

Alta Badia skiing
After breakfast in the hotel, get ready to depart for the panoramic Lagazuoi ski circuit, a real journey through the history of the Dolomites, for a fantastic morning on the slopes. In the afternoon return to the hotel and relax with a wine tasting of six of Alto Adige’s best labels. After this tasty experience, savour a scrumptious dinner at the hotel and rest for the evening.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and be on your way for another skiing adventure on the unique ski circuit the Sellaronda that will take you right through the Dolomite mountain range.
Back to the hotel, relax at the Spa before another lovely dinner at Ciasa Salares Restaurant.

Skiing at Plan de Corones
After breakfast, leave for Plan de Corones, the number one ski resort in South Tyrol for many wintersports enthusiasts; with more than 100km of marked pistes, it offers excellent ski touring routes and two fascinating ski safari.
In the afternoon get back to the hotel and relax with a nice walk in the village or a reinvigorating session at the Spa.

Have breakfast at the hotel and meet with our driver, who, depending on the snow, will take you to Cortina for a day dedicated to shopping; for lunch, try the traditional Ampezzo cuisine, which blends Austrian and Venetian traditions, and savour the casunziei, ravioli filled with spinach or red beet seasoned with butter and poppy seeds, or the canederli, a variation of the Tyrolean knödel consisting of balls of bread kneaded with sliced meat or cheese and served with hot broth or melted butter, along with many other typical dishes. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel, have dinner and rest for the evening.

Snowshoe hike
After breakfast, get ready for a real treat: a snowshoe hike in Alta Badia! This relatively easy hike, with little variation in altitude, goes through the Armentarola meadows in San Cassiano as far as the Valparola Pass: enjoy snow-covered meadows and fantastic views and a simply perfect natural landscape.
When you get back to the hotel, a relaxing time at the Spa is a must!
After, have dinner and rest for the evening.

Skiing in the Val Stella Alpina
Have breakfast at the hotel and depart for a ski excursion in the Val Stella Alpina, a popular destination in the Dolomiti Superski skiing resort. Right in the centre of the town of Colfosco, a cable car brings you into the Edelweiss valley, where you can experience the wide, sunny slopes in this lovely little valley on the edge of Puez-Odle natural park. In the afternoon get back to the hotel and relax with a nice walk in the village.

After breakfast at the hotel get privately transferred to the airport of your choice.
