Dog Sledding in the Dolomites

A pack of handsome, toned huskies pulling a sled in the middle of boundless snowy scenarios immediately brings to mind the great North, Alaska in particular, where dog sledding is the national sport. There are places in the Italian Alps that have nothing to envy to the immense American territory in terms of the majesty of the landscapes, equally wild and primitive. Cortina, for example, in the heart of the Dolomites, is the most glamorous mountain resort in the Bel Paese where you can experience an adventure worthy of a Jack London novel, thanks to the excursions organized by an internationally recognized “mushing sleddog” school … a thrill that merges nature, history and myth.
